and so it begins....

100_5374 ....the assembly line process of creating my hand-stamped Christmas Cards!

I'll  be making 100 this year - some for all the gals in my Stampin' Up! downline, some for the ladies in my Stampin' & Scrappin' Clubs, some for the subscribers to my AMStudio Papercrafting kits and of course some for family & friends!  I finalized the design of the card last night and ordered the rest of the supplies I'll need today!  I started what I could to keep me busy while I wait for the rest supplies and photos to get here!

Today, I'll be working on my AMStudio December Papercrafting Kit - I'll have the sneak peaks up in the next few days!    Happy Thursday!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas....

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving and long weekend!  It was fun choosing out a Christmas Tree at the farm, although it was bitterly cold so I didn't get too many photos of that outing!!!

The kids survived my annual photo shoot for our Christmas Card - here's the unedited picture that I'll be using on my hand-stamped cards (the only difference being that it will be printed in sepia tone)  I'll post the finished card after I send them out.

And for those of you who think I make it look easy to get a great shot every year for my Christmas cards, I'll have you know it took a whole lot of whinning, 1 hour, and 75 shots which mostly looked like this:

Just think how much "fun" it will be next year when we have a 7-month old baby to add to the mix of getting a good shot!  Yikes!

I'm feeling very festive (and creative) this year so now that my schedule is a little more free, I'll be back to posting on my blog daily with lots of great holiday ideas and inspirations!

"So Thankful" Kit

Nov_2007_kit_layout_2 Here's are two layouts I made today using my "So Thankful" AMStudio  November papercrafting kit!  You can order one until Nov. 15th!  Details were sent in my E-Newsletter earlier today. If you aren't on my E-Newsletter list - sign up today using the sign up box in the upper right hand corner of my blog! Also, be sure to email me seperately for details on how to order this month's kit!!  I'll forward you a copy of the E-Newsletter that was sent earlier today with all the details.

Today I sorted through some older photos and I came across some long forgotten, adorable pictures of my oldest son, Lachlan when he was about 3 (he's 10 now!!!)

I am so excited that I scrapped these!  So often, I just print out and scrap with what's on my current memory card, but it's so rewarding to find old favorites to work with!
