Fun at Stampin' Up!'s new Manufactuing Facility

100_4642 No matter how many times I've been, one of the highlights of the Founders Circle trip for me is the chance to go to Stampin' Up!'s Manufacturing Facility.

The employees are always so excited for our visit and as they explain their jobs to us,  it is obvious that they feel a great sense of pride in what they do and the company they are a part of.

Not many companies can boast such pride and loyalty from their employees.  But it is because of Shelli's genuine care  and concern toward each employee as an indivdual that keeps them committed to what they do.   She spends a great deal of one-on-one time with each of them and even has an apartment there at the facility for when she visits as the home office in Salt Lake City is about 4 hours away.   (I'll be sharing photos of the apartment in the next few days on my blog).

This year we went to the brand NEW Manaufacturing Facility in Kanab, Utah.  While I loved the charm of the original facility, I can see why the employees are so excited to have more space to work in!

Above is a photo taken during our Make & Take session at the new Mfg. facility.  We all received a Stamp set & Wheel that will be featured in the NEW Stampin' Up! Catalog that comes out in January!

Here is a photo of the outside of the new Mfg. Facility

and below is a photo of me picking up my box lunch!  How cute is it that they served us our boxed lunches in a Forget-Me-Not Keeper to take home with us!  And let me assure you these were no ordinary boxed lunches - Everything inside was quite gourmet!  The Chicken Salad Wrap and sides of potato salad & pasta salad were devine.  And for dessert choice there was Key Lime Pie, Creme' Brule & some fabulous Chocolate cake!   I'm definately going to use the idea for one of my Upcoming Downline Taste of Stamping Meetings and also for my Customer Events!

Today I'm working on getting prepped for my "Oh So Pretty" Cards and/or Layouts class tomorrow night and prepping for next week's Taste of Stamping Demonstrator meeting and Stamp-A-Stack of Holiday Cards class.

I'm hoping to get some time in this weekend to scrap some of the many photos I took in Lake Powell!   I'll be sharing sneak peeks and more photos from this trip in the days to come!

Breathtaking!

100_4807   I was here just a few short days ago, enjoying Stampin' Up!'s Founders Circle Retreat - an awards trip given to the Top 100 Demonstrators each year.  Shelli Gardner, the CEO and cofounder of Stampin' Up! chooses a different location in Southern Utah each year to spend with us.

I have been fortunate enough to go on 3 of these retreats in the past 4 years and I always have an amazing time.  The scenery is always breathtaking and the time spent with Shelli and the other award winners in priceless!

I took this photo last Saturday on my Colorado River Float Trip.  Several of us took this amazing excursion.  As if the scenery wasn't enough, our tour guide, Hank, was truly an amazing gentleman who had plenty of stories to share and even pulled over at one point to share his passion for the Indian Flute with us.

100_4734      It's not very often you meet a person who is such a lover of life and has so much to share.

I know the gals on my boat would agree that our trip was even more amazing than the others who floated down the Colorado River that day because Hank was our guide.

Spending today getting back to business after a hairy trip back home!

I'll be posting more pictures  & stories each day about my trip and I can't wait to get scrappin' all the amazing photos I took!

Hope you are having a great Tuesday!  Check back tomorrow to see more photos from my travels to Lake Powell!

Oh and here is a sneek peek of two of the designs we'll be making at my Stamp-A-Stack of Holiday cards!  Sign up today to receive my E-Newsletter to learn more about my Upcoming classes and events!  (Use the sign up box in the top right corner of my Blog).  Registration deadline for this class is this Friday, Sept. 28th!  Hurry and email me to register today!
