Back to school and back to my blog!

This was the best shot I could get this morning before we headed off for the boys 1st day of school.  Even though I was going for your traditional "serious smile" back to school shot - I really like this one after all!

The boys enjoyed their first day at their new school and Kyla will start her class on Friday!

So much for posting a photo everyday since my last post!  The summer just got away from me!

But I'm glad to get back into a routine and looking forward to getting some more work done while the kids are all at school.

I'm very excited about all my upcoming classes & events and looking forward to having a little bit of scrappin' time for me again!  I'll be posting samples here on my blog so be sure to check back daily!  I promise - I'll be posting daily again! 

I hope your little ones (if you have them) are all settling back into the school routine and I hope that leave you a little bit of stampin' & scrappin' time for yourself!      

Heidi Swapp is going to be soooo jealous!!!!

Okay so this tiny 50's stove would be so impractical for Heidi Swapp's family, but I had to say when I saw this in another artist's kitchen this past week - all I could think of was how much Heidi would dig this pink stove.  I have to confess, even though I'm not much of a "pink" person, I got kind of giddy to see it in person!

Cathy, the owner of this cooking wonder, said it was all she could do to contain herself when she looked at this house - once she saw the stove, nothing else mattered!  She had to live here!  Too funny, but in a strange way, being in the presence of it, I knew what she meant!

So Heidi - this one's for you!

In other news - WOW! I can't believe a whole week has gone by - I've taken lots of photos and I'm working on some great projects, so I'm going to endeavor to post at least one picture per day!  Gotta get back to my daily blogging!  Plus I'm revamping my photo albums in the sidebars - so hang in there - I promise to fill them soon with lots of inspiring samples!

Taken last Friday at the beach - even though this photo is blurry, the emotion is inspiring!  When was the last time you threw your hands up with such joy at a simple pleasure in life?
