A Sneak Peek...

...of the July layout that my Scrappin' Calendar Club members will make tonight!  They'll also be making an August layout too!

I'm loving Stampin' Up!'s new Tafetta Ribbon and the new Dashing Designer Series paper !

I've got a few spots left in this club if you want to join!  Can't make it to the meetings?  No problem - you are also welcome to be a join as a "virtual" club member!    It's a 6 month club that completes 2 pages each month to put into the 12x12 Days to Remember Calendar.  It ends in December - perfect timing if you want to give it as a gift!  (that is, if you can bear to part with it!)

The sun is shining here today - and that makes me happy!   What makes you happy today?

   

Out of the Mouths of babes....

It's a lazy dreary Monday here.  After 2 straight weeks of Vacation Bible School,  we're happy to be laying low today.  So the kids are playing video games, watching movies, and coloring & drawing while I work on some samples for some upcoming classes.  My UPS man pulled up a few minutes ago with an order I knew was coming - I brought it into my office and my daughter followed me.  As I opened the box she gasped and said "This box is Stampin' Up! heaven!"  Now, for those of you who don't know this,  boxes from Stampin' Up! arrive on an almost daily basis and she's never made that kind of comment before so I had to laugh!

   

Not only was it funny, it was true!!!  I forgot about all the exciting things that were coming today!   In this box came my Pretties kit, photo corner punch, scallop punch, Three for You Punch Box, new designer series papers, beautiful new ribbons and clipboards that I'll be altering for my Hostess gifts (if you haven't booked a workshop with me yet - you'll definately want to when you see how cute these turn out!)  I'll be posting samples and such on my blog in the next few days!

Hmmm....I wonder if I can talk my hubby into making supper tonight - I've got some major stamping and scrapping ahead of me!  Put on a pot of coffee, honey - it's going to be one of those late nights!    

look who came to visit today.....

At first glance, you may just think it's 2 of my kids on the front steps, however if you look closer at the top of the photo, you'll see a deer.

Aedan first spotted her in the back yard, then she moved to the side yard to nibble the clover and then, here to the front yard!

We really got a close up look at her when she was in the side yard.  The kids could watch her through the window -  she was close and  uninhibited.

We were also greeted by a bunny this morning when we were off to VBS.  He was right in front of our car in the driveway.

Totally feeling peaceful living here in our new home!  And peace leads me to creativity! 

Hoping to work on some samples for my upcoming classes in the next few days!

Where in the World is Anna-Marie???

I'm here, really I am!  I've been up to my eyeballs in painting etc, but finally starting to feel like we are settling into our new home!  Excited to get back on track and start the new Stampin' Up! year off in my NEW studio! 

Here's a sneak peek at my sunny new office - I'll share more photos soon!  Loving my new space - so much better than my old, dark, moldy, flooding basement!  The creativity is flowing so much better now!

I had my New Catalog Open House on Saturday and I was so busy I never had a chance to snap any photos, but I will be having it again this evening and I'm determined to snap a few shots!  Here's one of the Make & Take cards from my Open House
